Wow! I feel like I could spend an entire day scrolling through all the different options available on The Daily iPad app. It's interesting that there are ads throughout the carousel. Unlike normal advertisements in print, I think I would spend more time reading a digital ad. I also think the incorporation of videos throughout The Daily and the ability to save articles make it more appealing and a step up from a normal magazine or online news site. I wonder if you are able to personalize what news/entertainment pages appear on your carousel or under the main tabs. I also think it's interesting that there is specific tab dedicated solely to apps and games (and that our guide clicked that tab first). Usually in a print newspaper sudoku puzzles and the comics are located in the back-- behind the news. The Daily allows its paid subscribers to go directly to the new apps/game news or downloads. I guess I would too...
